Reviews for Casee's earlier work:

"The skilled combination of the melodies and vocals in each song make this an album to be treasured. This deserves to be a serious hit." - J Deighton

"A beautiful album" - Tom Mallow, The Cultural Review

"Every song brings new connections, new pleasures and the feeling as it ends that you already need to hear it again as you might have missed a bit!" - DeviSpirit

"A touch of Tori Amos and Kate Bush in there which is always welcomed with open arms" - Jericho Keys, BBC Introducing

"In an age where people are now literally falling over each other in the queue to be singers of the next synth band following the daily fads in the UK, this songwriter is different and has an alternative dream. This lady's dream is to be known for her songwriting abilities across all mediums from films to adverts and her name is Casee Wilson. A North London girl who now lives in the gorgeous & vast Yorkshire landscape, she creates beautiful songs that span nearly every genre out there. Grafting as a pianist & vocalist, she's managed to give heavy yet gentle nods towards her favourite artists - Ella Fitzgerald, Tori Amos, The Stones and Kate Bush amongst many more - in her production and song crafting. This lady has talent in buckets and you'll be hearing more of her throughout the years as she creeps into your TVs and Radio sets. "

Learning to Fly

The sky is clear now
And I can see for miles and miles
No matter what is thrown at me
I turn the other cheek and I smile

Learning to fly, I can believe
That everything I've dreamt about is here inside of me
Learning to fly, spreading my wings
No longer tethered to the earth or petty gravity

The page is blank now
I can see the writing on the wall
So many tears, so many years
Of being afraid I might fall

Learning to fly, I can believe
That everything I've dreamt about is here inside of me
Learning to fly, spreading my wings
No longer tethered to the earth or petty gravity

I thought I had nothing left to learn
Perspective is everything from here at a distance
I thought that I'd have to wait my turn
Perspective is everything

The air is pure now
Distance is no further than my hand
come share with me, share with me
the view of this green pleasant land

Learning to fly, I can believe
That everything I've dreamt about is here inside of me
Learning to fly, spreading my wings
No longer tethered to the earth or petty gravity

Higher and higher
